E-shirts use EL technology. Each shirt has a 1" X 2" panel Velcro to the chest that is internally connected to a driver/battery pack. The driver/battery pack operates on 4-AAA batteries that can easily function for more than 10 hours. The panel can be easily removed from the shirt to allow the users to exchange it for another style or to launder the shirt.
